Documentation

Requirements for dogs, cats and ferrets

Official "Zoosanitary Export Certificate" issued by the Health Authority of the country of origin.

Important considerations
  • The rabies vaccine must be within its validity period.
  • State vaccination dates, brand, lot and expiration date.
  • Indicate any endo and ectoparasite treatments performed.
  • Animals must not show fresh or healing wounds.

Procedure

Steps for the entry procedure

Notify the arrival of your pet 3 to 5 business days in advance by submitting the Home Quarantine Request.

01MIDA

Agricultural Quarantine

Visit the Office of the Executive Directorate of Agricultural Quarantine (MIDA) at Tocumen International Airport.

02MINSA

Zoonosis Control

Continue at the Office of the Zoonosis Control Department (MINSA) to validate the home quarantine.
